With the first month of school now complete, I want to wish students, parents, and teachers continued success as they settle into the school year. This is always an exciting time, filled with new opportunities and fresh beginnings.
The fall session of the Legislature is now underway. In the weeks ahead, I will continue to bring your voice forward and ensure our community’s priorities are heard. One important update is the roll-out of the new lunch program for junior high students. This program features a student-approved menu designed to support healthy learning.
September and October also give us important moments of reflection and celebration. We came together to mark Truth and Reconciliation Day, we will give thanks with family and friends at Thanksgiving, and enjoy the fun and community spirit of Halloween.
Thank you for staying engaged and informed.
Together, we will make this fall a season of progress, reflection, and community connection.
